- The new city of Jurupa Valley encompassed Pedley, Rubidoux and Mira Loma, which all had competitive city incorporation plans in the 1990s. But (mostly) unincorporated county areas does not want to be annexed by other cities to avoid paying city services taxes. 71.102.26.168 (talk) 09:55, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

- There was a lack of mention of Mira Loma was the site of a NASA installation, which opened in the early 1960's and closed in 1990, now the former base is a federally funded Superfund toxic removal site. Nearby Glen Avon has an infamous history being one of California's most polluted communities of water pollution from past chemical dumping (closed in the 1980's) first reported in the 1970s. The "town center" of Jurupa Valley is Pedley in terms of population and a higher average household income, and the "downtown" of the newly incorporated city: Rubidoux, an older community, known for providing schools, shopping, medical and commercial needs. 71.102.26.168 (talk) 09:55, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
The USPS still uses the name Mira Loma. When I search for city name for 91752, USPS says that the recommended city name is Mira Loma. Sam Tomato (talk) 14:31, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
